Mexico City
We are back from the weekend, one of my students took the week off to visit her family in Coahuila. Hanna caused damages at some points in the surrounding Highways but fortunately, she traveled on Friday.
It's been two weeks since we started the Summer Camp and everyone is motivated, especially reading and with the French lessons. Today, it was time to present their business plan for a Cookie Business. For these projects, last week we reviewed directions together during class, and everyone worked on his own during the afternoons. Mexico City is at risk due to COVID, so we checked the prices of the ingredients online, we preferred not stepping out to the market.
Kids enjoyed the warmup activity this morning, a very nice video about starting a business at their age, later we reflected on competition and their initial purpose of entrepreneurship.
We have read 120 pages of the second book, so we are ready to start working our own version of a Plot Diagram draft. This time we tried Google Jamboard to work at the same time and it was a nice surprise how well everyone participated.
